One of the things we did to celebrate the beginning of 2008 was see the Gipsy Kings at Al Sahra Desert Resort.

It was a bit of a festive environment and The Gipsy Kings themselves were fabulous. Everyone was clapping, wiggling, dancing, and just having a wonderful time.

There was a young designer’s competition sponsored by Swarovski, plenty of booths, and a sneak peek backstage at some of the fashion shows. Gorgeous evening gowns and wedding dresses by Salma Khan, anyone?
